About Me

About Me
Hi my name is Sandy and this is my husband Ken. After living in a subdivision for 40 years, we moved to start a hobby farm for our grandkids and begin an active retirement. We had ZERO farming or gardening experience, lol! Follow our adventures as we host barn suppers, hay rides, cookie exchange parties and more...all the while learning to farm, garden and tend animals. My parents grew up in the south, I was raised on Southern food, Southern Gospel and Southern Hospitality but I grew up in Northern Illinois and that is where our farm is. So I guess you can call me a Sweet Tea Yankee!

Please subscribe to receive my latest blog. Thanks so much!
